I started skiing when I was 3 years old and have been addicted to the sport ever since. After joining the local 'race team', I quickly progressed to the national team, where I competed with the older guys. I eventually won the Belgian indoor cup and became national champion alpine skiing and skicross, aged 13.
From this age, I started skiing international races all over Europe, comparing myself with the best skiers of my age. At the age of 15, I skied my first podiums. Eventually, I got sent to the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in 2015. In 2017 I skied the world championships in St. Moritz and the junior world championships in Sweden, where I got a bronze medal in the team event.
In 2019 I managed to score twice in Europa Cup, one of which was a top 20 ranking. Confirming my level between all the big skiing nations.
